Sometimes OEM products go bad. Specifically – GM Cue system and Chrysler UConnect systems have problems where the screen de-laminates over time. When this happens, the vehicle operator loses control of some or all of the screens touch response. This can cause the inability to operate the radio in part or whole. It can also cause the radio to “have a mind of its own” by changing channels or sources by itself.
